Nokia is set to introduce two new smartphones, the Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation. Recently, the Nokia G42 made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking site and has now gained certification from the Bluetooth SIG authority. Additionally, another Nokia phone named Nokia G310 5G has received Bluetooth certification as well.

Certified by Bluetooth SIG

The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms that the upcoming Nokia smartphones, identified by model numbers TA-1573 and TA-1591/TA-1581 will be released as the Nokia G310 5G and Nokia G42 5G respectively. The Bluetooth listings not only confirm the devices’ support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity but also provide insight into their key specifications.

According to the listing, both smartphones will boast a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a V-shaped notch. The display will feature HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels an aspect ratio of 20:9 a 90Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 560 nits. Furthermore, the screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Powered by Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G Chipset

Under the hood, both smartphones will be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset ensuring smooth performance and enabling next-generation connectivity. Additionally, both devices will come preloaded with the highly anticipated Android 13 operating system.

Insights from Nokia G42 5G on Geekbench

The Nokia G42 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench, revealing it to have 4 GB of RAM. Reports suggest that there will also be a 6 GB RAM variant available, accompanied by up to 128 GB of storage. Unfortunately, no details regarding the camera and battery specifications of these Nokia devices have been disclosed at present.
